| Thomas
Prichett was caretaker of the poor house in 1867, 1870,
and 1871.The County paid him $96.24 in October, 1870 for
care of the poor. |
| Bry Howard
ran the Overton County Home from 1892 to his death in
1894. Then Harriet Howard (wife?) ran the home from 1894
to 1899.In 1900, the keeper of the Poor House was James
Carr. |

| Note: We have heard a
rumor that the local historical society has had a
project going for some time regarding the Overton County
Poorhouse Cemetery, but we have not been able to get
confirmation of this. Any further information would be
greatly appreciated.
