OGEMAW COUNTY POOR FARM |

"This is a picture of
the Ogemaw County Poor Farm. It is in the background of a
picture of the West Branch Country Club. My Grandfather helped
layout and build the country club. My aunt told that they lived
next to the Poor Farm. She told of watching the inmates work on
the farm when she was a young girl. This picture is from the mid
to late 1920s."
