"All the
black and white paupers of Monroe Co. are now ordered and directed to
go to the Poor House of Monroe Co. and there they will be taken care
of, but the blind paupers if they prefer it may remain with their
friends and not go to the poor house and who shall take care of any
blind pauper will be allowed a sum not exceeding $25 for taking care
of blind pauper for twelve months."
