Francis J SEARS (b. 9/15/1827) -- "Mr. Sears was reared and educated in Orleans co., NY ... removed in 1859, to Milford, IL, and in 1860, started a branch store in Watseka, IL, doing a good business for 8 years, during which he was Township Trustee,Supervisor and overseer of the county poor farm."
